Portland man dies in crash on Hwy. 20

A Portland man was killed early Sunday, Sept. 20, in a single-vehicle crash near milepost 67 on Highway 20, east of Sweet Home.
According to the Oregon State Police, Troopers and Sweet Home emergency personnel responded at 7:10 a.m. to the crash. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Nissan Altima, operated by Robert Snyder, 60, of Portland, was westbound on Highway 20 when it went off the road and struck a tree.
Snyder sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
OSP was assisted by Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District personnel and ODOT.
