Sweet Home Harvest Festival Needs Volunteers

Sweet Home's Harvest Festival is coming up quick, and the event still needs volunteers.

This year's festival, set for Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will look a little different because of COVID. But there will be music, pie and chili cook-offs, and a beer garden.

Event Planner Angela Clegg said this year will be special because the new playground in Sankey Park will be open just in time for the festival.

"We have a ton of activities for the kids," she added, including pumpkin painting.
