Sweet Home police are looking for assistance in identifying two suspected thieves who, investigators say, worked together to steal a duffel bag full of tools from Hoy's Hardware. At about 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, one suspect distracted an employee, while the other loaded a duffel bag with power tools, police said in a Facebook post. The suspect in blue was the driver of a silver Dodge pickup, below, with a temporary registration tag and a Ron Tonkin license plate frame. The other suspect ran out to the truck with the tools, and they left the area quickly, police said. Anyone with information that might assist in solving the case is asked to contact Officer Dave Hickcox at (541 367-5181.
