Barbara Jo Hight, 59, of Sweet Home, died Aug. 17, 2020.

She was born July 20, 1961 in Oregon City to Willard "Bill" Hight and Coralee Schaefer.

Ms. Hight loved gardening and canning. From an early age, she was also a rockhound with her mom.

She is survived by two children, Wendy Hight and Tim Roebuck; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Beverly Hight of Washington, Cindy Seiber of Lebanon, Laura Hight of Dallas and Tami Barstad of Prineville; a brother, Bryan Hight of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Hight was preceeded in death by her father, Willard Hight of Sweet Home, who died in September 2019; her mother, Coralee Schaefer of Dallas; and a stepbrother, David Barstad.
