William Webb, 64, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 13, 2020.

He was born Aug. 1, 1956 in Monterey County, Calif., to Frank M. Webb III and Carol (Davenport) Webb.

He was named after his Uncle William Henry Webb, a missing World War II hero who is named on a memorial in Bisbee, Ariz.

Mr. Webb was raised in Monterey County. In Monterey County he enjoyed work as a breakfast chef at Embassy Suites for years.

He moved to Sweet Home in 2000 and worked in various restaurants locally. The last restaurant he worked at was The Point.

In Sweet Home he loved pleasing people with his food. He was always there to help people in need.

Mr. Webb enjoyed fishing, cooking and rock hunting. He had a large collection of arrowheads, one of which was certified by National Geographic.

Mr. Webb is survived by his daughter, Angela Webb of Prunedale, Calif.; son Joshua Webb, who is in the service in Virginia; mother Carol Davenport of Sweet Home; brothers Frank Webb of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Floyd Davenport of Sweet Home; and sister Vivian Auria of Aromas, Calif.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
