Wilbert Carl Johnson, 84, of Sweet Home, died Dec. 29, 2020.

He was born Nov. 7, 1936 in Kingfisher, Okla. to Carl Wilbert and Cleo (Morris) Johnson.

Mr. Johnson lived in Corvallis from 1985 until 1990, when he moved to Albany. In 1997 he settled in Sweet Home.

He was a butcher and a charter boat captain. He loved fishing.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Lois Johnson of Sweet Home; daughters Teneka Johnson of Maple Falls, Wash., Treni Litty of Sweet Home, and Tanisha Johnson of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Viewing is from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany.
