Jan. 11

5:10 a.m. – Caller reported she heard something like a gunshot or firework and then a male running. Officer responded, located male who matched the description, he ran from the area, will be on lookout.

7:45 a.m. - Earl Dodge, 27, cited and released on warrant for failure to appear on DUII charge, after deputy located Dodge walking along roadway, 1000 block Pleasant Valley Road.

8:01 a.m. – Caller reported a suspicious male looking into apartments with a flashlight, 900 block of Main. Officer responded, contacted male, advised not to look into residences.

11:02 a.m. – Caller reported a theft that occurred on Dec. 31 and the suspect is currently in the store. Officer responded, Lamar Wilson, 31, cited and released for theft.

12:15 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle crash on 1300 block of Tamarack. Officer responded, report taken, damage over $2,500. Operator Maureen Carol Conneely, 63, cited for unsafe passing on the left.

3:01 p.m. – Stray dog transported from SHPD to Linn County Animal Control.

3:19 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent use of credit card, $3,027.61. 27500 block Riggs Hill Road. Investigation ongoing.

6:16 p.m. – Caller reported son is agitated and breaking things, 4300 block of Airport. Officer responded, verbal only, male has left for the remainder of the evening.

6:50 p.m. – Caller reported theft at Bi-Mart, 1980 Main. Officer responded, report taken for theft, approximate loss valued at $140.

6:59 p.m. – Caller reported male who has been asked several times to leave is panhandling in front of store, requested he be trespassed, 1937 Main, Dollar General. Officer responded, male trespassed from location.

8:12 p.m. – Caller reported her brother put a gun in his mouth while video chatting, 4900 block of Mimosa. Officer responded, contacted male, not a peace officer hold candidate at this time.

10:06 p.m. – Caller reported a male who has been trespassed was just at his residence, 1400 block of 13th. Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 31, cited and released for criminal trespass.

Jan. 12

8:07 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked at 7-Eleven, 2405 Main, for several hours. A lot of foot traffic was going to the vehicle, caller requested they move along. Officer responded, both occupants sleeping upon arrival and denied foot traffic, waiting for a battery jump to move the vehicle. Veronica Sue Szuch, 24, cited and released for a parole violation.

10:18 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a child chasing after a dog, parent called to say her daughter is missing, 900 block of 16th. Officer responded, located child and dog, brought them back to the residence. Mother notified and is on her way home, child will stay with brother.

12:45 p.m. – Austin Stevens, 21, cited for careless driving, 1000 block of 22nd.

1:12 p.m. – Caller reported a male sitting by Taylor Pond throwing things in the water. Officer responded, contacted male with mental health issues, male had tossed belongings in pond. Belongings not retrievable at this time, warned for behavior, male has moved on.

1:12 p.m. – Deputy responded to spur road that is unmarked and turns off Highway 20 at milepost 61. Vehicle was found abandoned there, about one-third of a mile off Highway 20. Vehicle had been cleaned out and been there for a while. Towed at request of owner. No suspects identified at time of report.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported male moving garbage cans during night, throwing trash everywhere, requested he be trespassed, 1600 block of Long. Officer responded, unable to locate male, will attempt to locate and trespass.

4:10 p.m. – Caller reported a male is living at the location even though female has an active restraining order against him, 415 Holley, Church of Nazarene. Officer responded, Jonathon Warren Underwood, 27, arrested for restraining order violation, transported to Linn County Jail.

5:14 p.m. – Caller reported male pacing on property trying to open doors, requested he be trespassed, Sweet Home Inn, 805 Long. Officer responded, male trespassed.

6:11 p.m. – Caller reported a male is stumbling down the sidewalk, looking into people's cars. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate.

6:24 p.m. – Caller found a small bag of what appears to be drugs, 1300 block of Main. Officer responded, item seized for destruction.

7:55 p.m. – Caller reported her 13-year-old daughter hit her, 1100 block of 48th. Officer contacted caller by phone, minor physical disturbance, caller advised of options.

10:36 p.m. – Caller reported her car was stolen in the last 15 minutes, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

10:54 p.m. – Heather Lynn Thompson, 40, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, cited and released in the field, 12th and Main.

Jan. 13

4:47 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into the office, stole paperwork, and left a threatening note, 3100 block of Main. Officer responded, report taken for burglary and criminal mischief.

9:11 a.m. – Caller reported someone broke into a building at Herrings Auto, 4310 Main, and tried to start a fire inside. Officer responded, report taken.

11:23 a.m. – Caller reported receiving texts from a friend last night threatening suicide, 2200 block of Juniper. Officer responded, contacted female who was sleeping and is OK.

11:52 a.m. – Caller reported unknown people have been trespassing on her property in 42200 block Ames Creek Road. During storm that took place in previous night, someone took refuge in an old RV on the property, she said. Requested extra patrol.

3:22 p.m. – Tiawanna McDowell, 18, of LaPine, cited for speed, 40 mph in 20 mph school zone, while parents were actively picking up their children, 28700 Liberty Road.

4:11 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff's Office reported a motorcycle crash with injury, 1100 block of 2nd. Officer responded, report taken.

4:39 p.m. – Marshall Bradley Tompkins, 55, arrested on two counts of sexual abuse, lodged at Linn County Jail.

5:57 p.m. – Christopher Anthony Rynearson, 29, arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended and reckless driving, Linn County Hospital. Cited and released.

8:59 p.m. – Caller reported customers left without paying for propane, 1306 Main, Chevron. Officer responded, report taken for theft of services, loss valued at $9.50.

Jan. 14

7:56 a.m. – Caller reported a male came into the homeless camp at the Church of Nazarene, 415 Holley, and said the camp was bothering him and he was going to take matters into his own hands. Officer responded, contacted person at location, stated that he had seen him and would contact police if he saw him again. Unable to locate male.

9:32 a.m. – Caller reported theft of $100 tool from her property, 40300 block Piper Lane. She was not sure what kind of tool it was. She also reported that about $200 worth of damage was done to vehicle on her property. Investigation under way. Report taken.

12:39 p.m. – Burglary reported in 24400 block West Brush Creek Road. Nothing was taken, according to Sheriff's report. No further details. Report taken.

3:23 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked on the street for several days, male possibly living in car, 13th and Nandina. Officer responded, contacted male who said he had car issues and has nowhere to live. Male advised of options.

4:34 p.m. – Kendra Montoya, 22, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespassing.

7:45 p.m. – Paul William Kizer, 35, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 2100 block of Main. Also arrested on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation. Cited and released.

Jan. 15

8:39 a.m. – Caller reports chainsaw stolen out of bed of pickup early the morning of the 14th, 3210 Main, Cascade Timber Consulting. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, criminal trespass, and theft. Approximate loss of value $350.

11:41 a.m. – Caller located counterfeit bills in storm drain on Jan. 13, 5400 block of Main. Officer responded, items seized for disposal.

1:58 p.m. – Franklin Archie Thompson, 46, turned himself in on a Linn County warrant for two counts of failure to appear and a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of disorderly conduct. Cited and released from SHPD lobby, 1950 Main.

6:35 p.m. – Caller reported male lying on sidewalk, requested officer check on him, Fern Ridge and 228. Officer responded, checked area, unable to locate.

Jan. 16

9:33 a.m. – Late entry from Jan. 15: Corvallis Police arrested Dustin Kyle Coughran, 30, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal mischief.

9:33 a.m. – Late entry from Jan. 15: Corvallis Police arrested Daniel Joseph Browand, 27, arrested on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of theft.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported chickens loose in area, 1800 block of Fir. Officer responded, guided chickens back to their property, attempted to contact owner, no answer. Left business card at residence.

12:56 p.m. – Caller reported female trying to take car from location, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer responded, civil situation between female and male not currently at residence, female trespassed from location.

1:05 p.m. – Caller reported he hasn't seen his wife in four days, she blocked him on social media and isn't answering his calls, 2100 block of Ames Creek. Officer responded, report taken.

2:40 p.m. – Caller reported a male digging through flower beds, requested he be trespassed, 1200 block of Nandina. Officer responded, contacted male who denied reported activity. Male trespassed from caller's residence.

3:29 p.m. – Caller reported female screaming and sobbing at location, 1300 block of Main. Officer responded, female relatively calm, will gather belongings and move along.

6:40 p.m. – Caller reported a female is making loud noises in the bathroom, 1540 Main, Safeway. Officer responded, female agreed to leave the premises at the caller's request.

7:20 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor threatened to have someone kill him, 1400 block of 13th. Officer responded, contacted female and counseled her on her actions, also advised to keep the music down.

7:49 p.m. – Caller reported a male she has a no contact order with attempting to contact her on Facebook, 400 block of Elm. Officer responded, contacted caller by phone, info noted.

8:06 p.m. – Caller reported people on the side of the road with several bicycles and bike parts, 12th and railroad tracks. Officer responded, checked the area, unable to locate.

9:55 p.m. – Corvallis Police served a warrant to Elizabeth Lynn Warrant, 23, for failure to comply on an original charge of driving while suspended.

10:43 p.m. – Albany Police served a warrant to Steven Kenneth Stitt, 36, for failure to comply on an original charge of criminal trespass.

10:45 p.m. – Corvallis Police served a warrant to Nathan Daniel Brown, 45, for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

11:58 p.m. – Caller found her son unconscious, believed he had overdosed on narcotics, 100 block of Hawthorne. Officer responded, report taken in a death investigation.

Jan. 17

7:21 a.m. – Caller reported her boyfriend choked her out, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. Officer responded, report taken for domestic violence - strangulation and assault.

10:30 a.m. – Caller reported she hasn't been able to contact her brother since Jan. 6, 1700 block of Fir. Officer responded, report taken, male entered as missing.

12:02 p.m. – Caller reported a car parked in the bushes, Morse Bros Ponds. Officer responded, contacted owner, issue will be resolved. Public Works advised of gap in barrier.

2:35 p.m. – Salem Police arrested Jamie Crystal Glass, 28, on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.

5:12 p.m. – Caller reported an unsecured car was entered sometime in the last two days, 2700 block of Kalmia. Report taken, no theft or damage to vehicle.

9:52 p.m. – Branon Ray Smith, 26, cited and released on a Linn County warrant for a parole violation, Clark Mill and Main.
