Letter's conclusions may be unfounded

While I understand Chuck Thompson’s concerns raised in his Letter to the Editor (Jan. 13), I am surprised by his suggestion that our incoming councilwoman, Angelita Sanchez, may have had the intention of going to the DC rally to subject her son to the riot that ensued.
This is how “unfounded” rumors get started. Not all news outlets are fair or unbiased in their reporting, and further Mr. Thompson admitted in his piece that the reporting could have been “abbreviated.”
Sanchez is a patriot like most of us here in Sweet Home. If Mr. Thompson were truly curious and concerne...
