The simplest way to ease the turmoil over the “political uproar” is to ignore it.
Most of the uproar is by people who are trying to influence others with their own thinking. Just keeping in mind that not all “politics” is reasonable.
Many who dedicate themselves to serving the public are very caring and sincere, always seeking to serve all needs from all directions – a very difficult position to be in, as everyone has their own view of what is “right.”
