March 20, 1941 - Feb. 22, 2021

Charlotte Ann Harper, 79, of Sweet Home, passed away on Feb. 22, 2021.

She was born March 20, 1941 in Scappoose to Hans and Anna M. (Westra) Boer.

When she was a child she moved with her family to the Holley area. Charlotte has lived in the same house in Sweet Home since 1963.

Charlotte was a housewife and loved picking beans, filberts and walnuts with her kids when they were young. She worked for a time at the Stayton Cannery and later retired from White’s Electronics.

Until recently, Charlotte bowled once or twice a week in a league, played bunco, participated in the exercise classes at the Sweet Home Senior Center, and walked the track three days a week with friends. Charlotte loved to go sightseeing in her new car (fast) all over the state.

Charlotte is survived by her sons, David (Stephanie) Fowler of Wyoming, Bobby Fowler of Sweet Home, and Dale (Dawn) Harper of Hillsboro; daughter Ladema Hummer of Sweet Home; brother Dan (Tami) Boer; grandchildren Crystal Fowler, Zach and Jake Harper, Mitch and Desiree Fowler, Kyle and Hailey Hummer; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Sweet Home Senior Center.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
