Savannah Hutchins, left, and Kathryn Hanni go up to block a Cascade shot during the Huskies' 25-21, 25-8, 25-11 win March 25. They had beaten Woodburn 25-12, 25-8, 25-6 on the road the night before. On Monday, March 29, Sweet Home defeated Philomath 25-18, 25-15, 25-11 in what was one of its more competitive matches of the season. "It was a fun game," said Coach Mary Hutchins, noting that Philomath was at full strength for the first time all year for that match. The 9-1 Huskies' only loss this season was to Sisters, which will visit the Main Gym at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31. The Outlaws' meeting with Sweet Home will be their only home-and-away interaction with any league team. Sisters has confined itself almost exclusively to Deschutes Coounty, where the competition is all 5A and 6A schools. The only games they have lost to 4A teams have been to Cascade and Sweet Home.
