Feb. 3, 1932 - April 2, 2021

Ramona Lusardi, 89, of Sweet Home died April 2, 2021.

She was born Feb. 3, 1932 in Gresham to James Berla and Mary Lotti (Rench) McMurry. 

She had lived off and on in the Sweet Home area since 1955 until the mid-1980s, when she moved to the Portland area before returning to Sweet Home in 2014.

Mrs. Lusardi taught Sunday School for many years at Assembly of God in Sweet Home. She worked with the disabled and did senior home care.

She loved the wilderness mountains, as well as the coast. She loved camping, swimming, rock hunting, crafting, sewing and cruises. She loved going to The Point restaurant. A lifetime at church and her family was her passion.

Mrs. Lusardi is survived by her husband, Danny Lusardi, and daughters Jeri Duke Anlauf, and Melody Duke Jackson, all of Sweet Home; daughter Toni Mode of Estacada; son James “Tiger” Westberry of Jacksonville, Fla .; 10 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; two sisters; and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 10, at Hope Church, formerly the Assembly of God in Sweet Home.
