Huskies volleyball update III: Sweet Home wins state championship

Sweet Home's volleyball team won the 4A Division state championship tournament Saturday evening, beating Sisters 4-1 in the championship match (25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19).
The match was held at Pleasant Hill High School.

The Huskies beat No. 4 Henley (10-2) Thursday evening, also at Pleasant Hill, 25-19, 25-7, 25-9. Sisters (12-2), seeded sixth in the tournament, beat No. 2 Junction City 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 Thursday to advance to the final.
Sweet Home rolled over Cottage Grove Tuesday evening in the first round of the 4A state volleyball championship tournament.
The top-seeded Huskies (13-1) won 25-8, 25-5, 25-9 at home.
