Donna Claire Davis, 81, of West Linn, died April 18, 2021.

She was born Dec. 2, 1939 in Baker to Donald and Clema (Korup) Henderson.

She lived most of her early life in Idaho. Mrs. Davis moved to Sweet Home in 1968 with her husband Norm and their two young daughters.

She owned Kiddy-Corner preschool. She also worked for Sweet Home School District as a behavior specialist. She was a swim coach for age-group swimmers both in Idaho and Sweet Home.

Mrs. Davis was a Christian.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, calligraphy, sign language, gardening and crafts including card making.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Cindy and son-in-law Ryan Ellis of Portland, Shelley and son-in-law John Gridley of Milwaukie, Bruce and daughter-in-law Jennifer Davis of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norm Davis in 2001; son Gregory Davis in 1968; brother Don Henderson; and sister Carla Mackrill.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Norm Davis Memorial Scholarship (thru Sweet Home Alumni Fund).
