Huskies fall to Cascade despite productive day at plate

On Wednesday, the Huskies lost 9-4 at Cascade, despite outhitting the Cougars 13 to 9.
Maddie Harris pitched for Sweet Home, going five and two thirds innings and allowing nine runs on eight hits. Mikayla Guthrie threw one third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Cascade got on the board first with one run in the bottom of the third.
Sweet Home then answered right back with three runs of their own in the top of the fourth to take a 3-1 lead.
Kelsie Rush singled down the third base line to score Mykal Johnston.
Brooke Burke drew a walk to score Kaylea Layman, and then Bailee Hartsook...
