Perry leads Huskies with a 98 at Woodburn tourney

The Husky boys played Monday, May 3, at the Woodburn Invitational golf tournament at OGA in Woodburn.
Carson Perry became the first Sweet Home boy to break 100 this year with a 98 on the Par 72 course. Morgan Sands was close behind with a 102, followed by Dakota Melkvik (116), Joseph Hiemenz (122) and freshman Chet Garrett (136). In a nine-hole JV round, freshman Jacob Silvers shot a 60 for Sweet Home.
Team-wise, the Huskies finished sixth with a 438, behind winner Banks (344), Cascade (370), Tillamook (368), Junction City (412), and Salem Academy (422), and ahead of Molalla (455).
