Sweet Home Planning Commission members on May 3 approved a conditional use permit for Dustin Pomeroy, owner of Going Green Sweet Home, to establish a retail marijuana store in an existing building at 2252 Main St.

His plan is to move the existing store location, at 925 Main St., to the new location.

In the conditional use application form, the applicant wrote that in moving to the new location “the impact on the neighborhood, we believe, would be minimal as it is already a part of town where many of our customers visit regularly for grocery and retail shopping.”
