Farewell event for Delena Gilman

A farewell event for Delena Gilman, a longtime leader at the Sweet Home Senior Center, will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m.Thursday, June 3, at the Community Center, 880 18th Ave.

Gilman plans to move to Maine, and friends and acquaintances are invited to stop by and wish her farewell.

Gilman has led an exercise class at the Senior Center for more than 20 years and has participated in other groups, particularly as a knitter and crocheter.
