Lila Jane Allmon, 93, of Sweet Home, passed away May 18, 2021.

She was born Dec. 16, 1927 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Robert Terry and Sena (Cruthers) Carter.

She lived in Prineville, Molalla, Bandon and Elkton before, in 1994, moving to Sweet Home permanently.

Lila was a Christian and affiliated with Harvest Christian Center. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, canning, going to church and being a homemaker.

Lila is survived by her son, Thomas Terry Allmon of Sweet Home; granddaughters Mary and her husband Jesus Patricio, and Sally and her husband Gordon Rickard; grandsons Christopher and Steven Ash, and Johnny and his wife Christa Allmon; 16 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harlin Allmon, on Jan. 6, 2015; daughter Loretta Allmon on Sept. 16, 1985; son Raymond Harlin Allmon on Feb. 14, 2018; and great-grandson Joshua Shobe in December of 1996.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Harvest Christian Center. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
