Sweet Home lost a nail biter at Stayton, 57-56, in boys basketball Tuesday, May 25.
The Huskies were down 18 in the third quarter but were able to claw their way back to force the contest into overtime.
Head Coach Drew Emmert said they were able to close the deficit against Stayton by utilizing a one-three-one trap and a full court press on defense. Sweet Home forced 24 turnovers in the game.
“We showed a lot of heart to battle back in the second half,” Emmert said.
