Husky boys and girls both go 1-2 in league basketball

Natalie Rodgers brings the ball upcourt against Woodburn. The girls lost big to Cascade (62-36) and Philomath (73-29), but beat Woodburn at home, 55-38.

Russ Holly tries to get a shot off over Cascade's 6-10 Dom Ball. The boys lost 38-36 in overtime to the visiting Cougars, then lost 58-33 to Woodburn on the road the next night before rebounding on Friday to beat Philomath 54-48. the girls are currently on top of the Oregon West standings, with a 3-0 record, 4-4 overall. The boys are 2-1 in league, which puts them on top, but they have three teams behind them that are 1-0 and have games yet to play.
