Skye McKenzie Johns (Coffield), 43, of Sweet Home, passed away on Oct. 25, 2020 in Eugene.

Skye was born Dec. 16, 1977 in Lebanon to Dena Childers and John Postell, but spent most of her life in Toledo and Salem.

Skye enjoyed spending time at the coast.

She also loved listening to music, reading novels and writing in her journal.

She attended B.C.T.I. in Salem, where she completed and received her degree.

Skye was preceded in death by her father, John Postell.

Skye is survived by her mother, Dena Childers of Cottage Grove; and sons Kaleb and Hunter Coffield; daughter Samantha Coffield; and two grandchildren, Malakai and Serenity, all of the Seattle, Wash. area.

Skye's celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Sunnyside Park in the covered picnic shelter.

We will be having a potluck, so bring your favorite dish.
