In response to excessive heat warnings predicted Friday and Saturday, July 30-31, the City of Lebanon has opened a cooling center at the Lebanon Senior Center. 80 Tangent St.

The center will be open until 5 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Free transportation will be provided within the Lebanon area during those times. To arrange for a ride, call LINX Transit at (541) 258-4920.
