OREGON DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY, Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District, and Mohawk Valley Fire battled a one-acre field fire Saturday, July 25, on Cascade Timer Consulting property in the 24200 block of Brush Creek Road and Childers Drive.

12:52 a.m. - Oscar Junior Phillips, 49, cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured in the 700 block of Ninth Ave.
8:42 a.m. - Caller reported $815 worth of fishing tackle stolen from campsite at Whitcomb Creek Park over weekend. Report taken.
10:12 a.m. - Mark Aaron Lamb, 44, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of reckless driving, Oregon State Police.
11:25 a.m. - Frank Thompson, 47, of Sweet Home, cited and released on warrant, 43700 block Wiley Creek Dr. Report taken.
