Lincoln “Grey” Lewelling, 63, of Sweet Home, died July 29, 2021.
He was born Jan. 11, 1958, in Albany to James H. and Peggy J. (Manney) Lewelling.
He had lived in Newport, Toledo, and Nome, Alaska, before moving to Sweet Home in late 2017.
Mr. Lewelling spent most of his adult life on the back deck of the Timmy Boy fishing vessel out of Newport.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gold panning and glass blowing.
He is survived by a son, Lincoln Tylar Lewelling of Siletz; brothers Todd and sister-in-law Donna J. Lewelling of Sweet Home, and Garth and sister-in-law Wendy Lewelling of San Tan Valley, Ariz .; sister Candi Jean Lewelling of Milwaukie; three grandsons; his best friends, roommates, and niece’s family: Trysta, Coury and Jace Gagne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Peggy Lewelling; and wives Renee and Donna.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Toledo Eagles Lodge. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Newport Fishermen’s Wives in Newport. For information, visit http://www.newportfishermenswives.com.
