The Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments has dispersed almost $144,000 in federal CARES funding to area projects, Executive Director Ryan Vogt told Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist, Sherrie Sprenger and Will Tucker Tuesday morning.

Vogt said he is excited about micro-grants distributed in the three counties. 

Vogt said that in all, 18 projects in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties received funds.

The Linn County projects included:

Sweet Home: A downtown streetscape project with a total budget of $75,455, received $10,000.
