Cross country: Sieminski leads Huskies at NW Classic meet

Sweet Home's cross-country runners competed Saturday at the Northwest Classic at Lane Community College, where they saw some of the fastest competition in the 4A Division.
Siuslaw swept the team titles at the event.
No. 1 runner Jacob Sieminski had played football at Madras the night before, so "he ran tired," Coach Kambria Schumacher said. Sieminski finished 33rd out of 147 runners, in 18:27.
Nate Coleman, coming off a bout with a cold, was still not 100 percent, she said, but he dropped well under 20 minutes with a 19:12 to place 53rd.
