James Isaac
James Errol Isaac, 80, of Sweet Home died Oct. 13, 2021.
He was born Oct. 19, 1940, in Ardmore, Okla., the son of James Judias and Lillie Mae (Davis) Isaac.
He lived most of his life in the western United States, including California, Oregon, Colorado, Montana, Wisconsin, Arizona and New Mexico. He settled in Sweet Home in 2018.
He worked as a foreman for a mobile home factory, served as president of Indian Bible College, did custodial work, and was a counselor and pastor.
Mr. Isaac enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, yard work and gardening. He loved spending time with family and his beloved dog.
Mr. Isaac is survived by his children, Darrol J. Isaac of Shasta Lake, Calif., and Debra S. Keene of Salem; brothers Joey Talley and Dennis Talley, both of Hemet, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Isaac was preceded in death by his wife, Lola L. Isaac, on Oct. 11, 2021; sons Roy Lewis Hagadorn in 2010, and William Gene Isaac in 2017; and brother Steven Talley in 2015.
A combined service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
