Wrestling: Husky girls second at Cascadia tourney; boys team fourth

Seniors Paige Chafin and Kami Hart led the Husky girls to a second-place finish at the 20-team Perry Burlison Girls Tournament, hosted by Cascade Saturday, Dec. 4.

Thirteen Huskies scored a total of 175 points to finish behind McKay (22 wrestlers/236 points) and ahead of Thurston (14 wrestlers/159 points).

The varsity boys finished fourth in a 20-team field, with 120 points, behind Crook County (250), Thurston (201) and Scappoose (128). Cascade was fifth with 99.5 points.

Seniors Paige Chafin and Kami Hart were the top finishers of the day for Sweet Home, Chafin taking first at 125 pounds...
