Sweet Home girls basketball (3-2) won two games and lost one – to a top-ranked team – in last week’s action.

Playing at Molalla on Dec. 7, the girls won 45-36.

Head Coach Michelle Knight noted that her team won every quarter of that game. “It was a fun game and we played really well as a team,” the coach said. “We had four great quarters.”

Junior Brooke Burke led the team in scoring with 23 points on 8-21 shooting from the field. Senior Adaira Sleutel tacked on 13 for the Huskies on 5-11 shooting, while also pulling in 15 rebounds.
