Turnovers plague boys basketball as Sweet Home falls to 1-4

Sweet Home boys basketball (1-4) was unable to find the win column last week.

On Tuesday they fell 50-25 at home to #14 Molalla (3-2).

"We didn't defend, run our stuff or rebound very well," Head Coach Drew Emmert said of the contest. He added that the Indians "shot very well."

Senior Eddie Martinez and Sophomore Nathan Aker were the leading scorers in the game, with nine points apiece.

Martinez shot 3-12 from the field, while Aker, who also pulled in a team leading seven rebounds, went 3-10.

The Huskies turned the ball over 23 times while only forcing nine takeaways.
