Sweet Home's boys swept three opponents in a round-robin duals wrestling match at home Thursday, Dec. 16, before moving on to Thurston Saturday, where the Huskies went 3-1, losing to the hosts.

Sweet Home beat Cascade 66-15 in the Thursday match.

At Thurston, the Huskies defeated Tillamook 49-23 and Marshfield 60-24, two programs that are perennial contenders for trophies at the state championships.

Coach Steve Thorpe said the Huskies are getting back to full strength after having several starters out with illness.
