Icy conditions early Monday morning, Jan. 24, caused a two-vehicle crash in the 27000 block of Highway 20 east of Sweet Home. The accident was reported shortly before 8 a.m. According to Sweet Home Batallion Chief Randy Whitfield, a Chevrolet pickup traveling westbound collided with an eastbound Toyota Four-Runner, damaging the latter's driver-side headlight and sending it into the ditch. No injuries were reported. "It was very slippery out there this morning," Whitfield said.
