No one hurt in Jan. 26 incident; LPD investigating

An Albany Police detective shot at a moving car during a Wednesday, Jan. 26, arrest for multiple warrants in the parking lot of Bob’s Family Market in Albany.
According to an Albany Police Department news release, 31-year-old Kagen Ray Sandoval, of Corvallis, attempted to use his vehicle as a weapon during the incident. The detective fired one shot but did not hit the suspect, police said.
Sandoval was treated for minor injuries at a local area hospital and released into custody. He is currently being held at Linn County Jail on existing warrants, plus additional charges of felon in poss...
