The dynamic scoring duo of junior point guard Brooke Burke and senior post player Adaira Sleutel once again came up clutch for the Huskies last week, propelling Sweet Home (6-11, No. 19 in 4A) to a 60-32 league win Tuesday against Newport (6-8, No. 29).
Burke scored a career-high 35 points in the home game, running up her season point total to 331. The junior's line against Newport included five three-pointers. Sleutel added 15 points against the Cubs, running her total on the season up to 187.
