Five Huskies place as team takes seventh in Reser's wrestling

Sweet Home's varsity boys placed seventh at the Reser's Tournament of Champions Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28-29, at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, during a busy week for Sweet Home wrestling.

A team of junior varsity wrestlers finished fourth at a duals tournament in Harrisburg, also on Friday and Saturday.

And all that came after the Huskies notched dual meet wins over Elmira (57-3), Willamette 78-6, Junction City 72-10 and Newport 84-0.

Coach Steve Thorpe said a top-seven finish at Reser's is nothing to be ashamed of.
