For the second time in eight days, a motel has been the target for out-of-control vehicles.
Last week a pickup truck struck Porta Via Motel. This week, three men were injured and hospitalized after their car rammed into a corner unit of the Tourist Motel on Nandina Street. The car was totaled, but damage to the motel was confined to the exterior of the building.
The driver, Reginald Brady, of Albany, was cited for violation of the basic rule, section three. He had apparently lost control of his car after passing a street barricade at 13th Ave., swerved across the street,...
