Lights ... camera ... FESTIVAL!

In the second photo, Ray Nomoto Robison of Medford, director of the winning film in the inaugural Reel Oregon, receives his award plaque from Rose Peda of SHOCASE, which organized the event. Robison's film, "Dear Future Self," tells the story of a woman who discovers a time capsule she created over 50 years earlier. Included is a recording she made for herself that brings back many memories of who she was and helps her realize who she has become. The festival, held at the Rio Theatre, shown in the first and third photos, included 13 films and drew about 75 people.
