Emergency personnel work at the scene of a collision that killed two people Friday, March 18, at the weigh station on Highway 20 in Foster.

Two people died Friday morning, March 18, in a two-car head-on collision at the weigh station on Highway 20 in Foster. 

According to the Oregon State Police, OSP troopers and emergency personnel responded to the crash near milepost 32 in Linn County at around 11:25 a.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed that 27-year-old Tawni Anderson of Lebanon was traveling east in a black Mazda sedan when she drifted into the westbound lane and collided with a gray Kia Sportage, driven by 59-year-old Gary Peppering of Sisters.
