Law enforcement officials investigate Tuesday afternoon, March 21, at the scene of a fatal confrontation with a Sweet Home man.
A Sweet Home man was killed in an armed confrontation with Linn County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon, March 21, following a report of a disturbance in the Cascadia area, Oregon State Police said last week.
According to Linn County Sheriff Michelle Duncan, the agency's dispatchers had received a 911 call that afternoon regarding an incident in the 27200 block of High Deck Road. Deputies, Sweet Home police and Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District medics responded to the scene shortly after 2 p.m.
