Sweet Home baseball teams fall to tough pitching in Hidden Valley tourney

The Sweet Home softball team won three of four games during the Redmond Spring Break Tournament, held Monday and Tuesday, March 21-22.
The Huskies (4-1) defeated 5A South Albany, 4A Madras and 3A La Pine, but fell to 5A Redmond.
“I felt like it was a great start to our season,” Head Coach Karyn Hartsook said. “We got some kids some playing time and learned some things we need to work on.”
Sweet Home dropped La Pine 18-3 in Monday’s opening game.
