Frances Wodtli- Stockdale, 72, of Veneta, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 13, 2022.

She was born June 10, 1949, in Sweet Home to Howard and Nellie (Humphries) Wodtli and was raised in Sweet Home.

Frances was passionate about spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed camping and the great outdoors. Fran was an adamant animal lover.

She was very social, with many friends throughout her life. She enjoyed new adventures and traveling.

She was a member of the Ladies Red Hat Society and the Community of Christ Church in Bend.

She is survived by her husband, whom she married in 1995, Wayne Stockdale of Veneta; son Roy Israel of Eugene; daughter Donna (Israel) Hodges of Noti; step-son Walt Stockdale of Vancouver, Wash.; sister Bonnie Thayer of Sweet Home; brothers Ronald Wodtli of Mossyrock, Wash., and Richard Wodtli of Eugene; grandchildren Justin Hodges of Nashville, Tenn., Reece Hodges of Waynesboro, Ga., Trystan Fisher of Alvadore; and Kaleb Israel of Medford; nephews Larry and his wife Monique Coonrod Jr., and Rick and his wife Teresa Coonrod, all of Sweet Home; and nieces Jill Harding of Tacoma, Wash., and Beth Wodtli of Mossyrock, Wash.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nellie Wodtli; brother Michael Wodtli; and niece Tracy Coonrod, all of Sweet Home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Gilliland Cemetery.

The family requests that any floral arrangements be sent to Gilliland Cemetery Wodtli Family plot No. 5.
