Workers from Emery and Sons Construction contractors go deep to install storm drain improvements in Foster last week as part of the city's long-awaited project to install sidewalks along Highway 20. Construction of a sidewalk on the north side of the highway is taking place between 55th and 60th avenues. The project, in the works for more than 15 years, consists mainly of a 10-foot-wide multi-use path for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as pedestrian highway crossings at 22nd, 40th and 49th avenues.
