The New Era - All about Sweet Home since 1929

Cody Miller, a 2016 Olympic swimming gold medalist, presented a clinic Saturday, July 9, for the Sweet Home Swim Club.

Coach Kelly Sautel said “it was one of the coolest experiences ever, as a young athlete, to swim and learn from an Olympian.”

Miller, center in the first photo and on the blocks in the second, signed autographs and posed for photos, as well as racing with the Sweet Home swimmers.

He also delivered “an amazing talk, inspiring, motivating and encouraging our kids to be better athletes in and aout of the water,” Sautel said.
