Sweet Home Softball Association held a camp for younger girls last week, July 11-12, at the high school softball fields.
More than 50 girls participated, camp director Karyn Hartsook said.
"It's an exciting time with all the girls coming to work out," she said. "It was even more fun seeing all the new faces."
She said open gyms will start in January 2023, and will be announced on Sweet Home Softball's Facebook page.
