Motorhome destroyed in Aug. 24 fire

Firefighters responded early Thursday afternoon, Aug. 24, to a fire in this motorhome at 1530 Tamarack St.
According to Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District, when firefighter arrived at 1:30 p.m., smoke was coming from the engine compartment and flames then spread to the remainder of the vehicle.
The vehicle had just exited Tamarack Ridge Estates (formerly Mountain Shadows mobile home park) when it caught fire.
The blaze melted a fence outside the park.
Damage estimate was undetermined.
