Volleyball team warms up for season by splitting games in jamboree

Sweet Home went 2-2 in a home volleyball jamboree Thursday, Aug. 25.
The Huskies lost 25-19, despite a late comeback, to Corbett, then fell 25-20 to Philomath. Sweet Home came back with wins over Lebanon and Marist. Those scores were not available.
"We have a lot to work on," Coach Mary Hutchins said.
Sweet Home opened its regular season at home against Junction City Tuesday evening, Aug. 30. The Huskies play again at home Sept. 6, hosting Marshfield.
