A new roof hangs over the loggers statues in front of the East Linn Museum at the intersection of highways 228 and 20, thanks to the efforts of Robin Miller, Mike Melcher and a team of volunteers. The chainsaw carving, initially placed in 2018, was rapidly deteriorating from the weather. In 2020, Melcher approached the Sweet Home City Council for help in acquiring approva from the Oregon Department of Transportation to erect a gazebo over the statue because ODOT owns the land upon which it sits.
