Monkeypox vaccination for eligible patients is available at Samaritan Infectious Disease – Corvallis, 2640 NW Samaritan Drive, Suite 210, Corvallis.
Receiving a vaccination before being exposed to monkeypox provides the best chance to prevent disease. Those who have been exposed should be vaccinated as soon as possible, ideally within four days, to help prevent the disease or make it less severe.
The Oregon Health Authority recommends monkeypox vaccination for the following people:
