The Oregon State Police agency is aware of questions regarding Ballot Measure 114.

The Oregon Secretary of State’s office notified OSP that the measure will go into effect at midnight Thursday, Dec. 8. The agency is working closely with the Department of Justice, the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association and the Oregon Association Chiefs of Police to assess the required processes needed to implement this law, the agency said in a public statement last week.
